Cette compétence restructure l'organisation standard des dossiers d'un projet en une organisation modulaire basée sur les disciplines, regroupant les fichiers associés (comme le code source, les tests et la documentation) dans des sous-répertoires `modules/<discipline>/`. Elle est utilisée pour passer d'une disposition plate et basée sur les types à une architecture plus modulaire et centrée sur les fonctionnalités. La transformation s'applique aux répertoires courants tels que `src/`, `tests/` et `docs/`, tout en conservant certains dossiers comme `specs/templates/` à plat en tant qu'exceptions.
